Design Perspective

“Design should shape how a space is experienced, not just how it’s seen.”

I’m Gia Donati, founder of Gia’s Interiors. I design spaces that feel intentional, cohesive, and deeply connected to how they’re used, whether in a home or a hospitality setting.

I’m drawn to interiors that feel quiet but considered, where material, proportion, and detail work together without competing for attention. Rather than following trends, I focus on creating spaces that feel grounded, balanced, and visually lasting.

I’m especially interested in how a space comes together as a whole: how light moves through it, how textures interact, and how each element supports the overall atmosphere. The goal is always to create environments that feel effortless, refined, and complete.

My Approach

Every project begins with understanding how a space needs to function, how it flows, how it’s used, and how it should feel.

I take a collaborative, detail-oriented approach, working closely with clients to develop a clear and cohesive vision from the start. From layout and material selection to the final layers of styling, each decision is made with intention and in relation to the overall design.

Whether working on a home or a hospitality space, the process remains grounded in creating environments that feel intuitive, considered, and enduring, spaces that not only look refined, but truly support the way they’re experienced.
